Ultra-complicated and top echelon Jaeger-LeCoultre Stainless Steel ‘Geophysic Univesal Time’ Wristwatch.  In the current Jaeger LeCoultre lineup of watches this is one of the most innovative and technically advanced products.  The entire Geophysic line of watches pay homage to the original Geophysic watches of the 1950s as being the most accurate and robust mechanical watches that Jaeger-LeCoultre has created.  Besides its spectacular world time lacquered dial, the awesome nature of this watch is within the in-house caliber 772 which has been built completely new for this particular model.  The new movement employees the watchmaking industry first ‘gyrolab’ semi-circular balance wheel where the H-shaped design greatly reduces drag and friction in a larger and heavier tradition balance wheel.  On top of that this movement caliber displays seconds in a dead-beat manner which really challenges the boundary of mechanical watchmaking and really speaks to the skill of Jaeger-LeCoultre as a watch manufacturer.  Finally the world time function is so well designed that it can easily be set by pulling out the crown to the hour hand adjustment position (hour hand can be independently set from the minute and seconds hand).  This movement features 274 parts with 36 jewels, along with solid gold skeletonized automatic rotor and special 2^nd hairspring to allay the dead-beat center seconds display.  Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) $14,300.
