REMARKS: In this listing we are presenting this wonderful Elgin 14K Solid Gold Hunting Case Pocket Watch with heavy duty Box Hinge Case. The entire watch has intricate and artistic engravings and also it has the very distinctive horn/flared décor on both the front and back covers. The 14K solid gold case was made to the highest standard that this 6 sized watch (39.5mm) weighs a hefty 59.2 grams. Based on movement serial number the estimated production year was 1889. It’s really quite nice having a nickle colored movement.
CONDITION REPORT: ondition-wise the watch runs and operates but we cannot provide functional or timekeeping accuracy guarantee as we have not had it serviced. Antique pocket watches like this specimen will likely need full service to run normally, it is the sole decision and responsibility of end-user to service.
