Marvelous and highly valuable Antique American Waltham 18K Solid Gold 18-Size Pocket Watch Circa 1883 with a super heavy Drum Style Hunter case. Not only is this watch case exorbitantly heavy, the craftsmanship of the engravings on both front and back covers are simply amazing. Both covers as well as the case body are fully engraved with various geometric and floral patterns throughout every millimeter. This watch has a diameter of 52mm and total weight of 149.2 grams which makes it highly valuable just based on the gold content. Another indication of the high quality is that the case is hallmarked AWCo which made some of the heaviest gold pocket watch cases in the world. Inside the watch a Waltham Model 1877 Appleton Tracy Co. 18-size movement serves as the timekeeper.
