REMARKS: Highly ornate Waltham 14K Solid Gold Hunter Case Pocket Watch with Extra Fancy Art Deco Styled Geometric Patterns. The 14K solid gold hunter case for this watch is fully engraved with alternating geometric patterns with areas of high polish while others with matte or hashed finish. The resulting decoration is spectacular and it really stands out. Inside the watch a 12 size Waltham model 1894 17 jewels movement serves as the timekeeper. Based on Waltham database this movement was made in 1908.
CONDITION REPORT: Condition-wise the watch runs weakly and stops in certain positions so it needs to get serviced to run properly. Cosmetically the 14K solid gold case is in excellent shape and it seems to have been seldomly used thus the engravings are still sharp to touch. The dial is in great shape with no crack or chip, all three hands are original. Diameter is 45mm, total weight is 65.6g.
