Great Elgin 18 Size Box Hinge Gold Filled Hunter Case in great condition with a nicely kept Elgin Grade 103 Movement. This pocket watch from 1891 has a fantastic Box Hinged Hunter Case that the Goldfill has no wear-through and the engravings are still sharp. For collectors and fans of pocket watches this is a great item to own without paying the high prices for solid gold cases which have now skyrocketed due to gold price increase. Even through this is a gold filled case it has a sizable chunk of solid gold intrinsically as the gold-filled case is made from outer layers of solid gold.
