| Remark: | Antique 14K Yellow Gold Enamel Slide Necklace or Watch Chain which is extra long at 27.7 inches or 70.3cm. From the style of the chain and the style of enameling on the slide it appears to be from Victorian era in the 1800s. The chain links are made the classic interlaced chainmail and cross-pattern stick bars. It is scarce to find an all original antique chain with extra long length that can be worn around the neck that can drop down all the way to the waist. The slide still has its original corking and there is no loss of enameling. The chain is quite new and in mint condition without kink/twist and there is very little surface wear suggesting it was well care for and rarely used. It is hard to find an all original antique slide chain with complete enameling in such great condition.
