LONGINES 14K 26mm Open Face Ladies High Relief Tambourine Bow & Torch Cupid Pendant Watch Yellow Gold

REMARKS: Wonderful antique Longines 14K Solid Gold Ladies Pendant Watch with High-Relief Appliques of Tambourine, Bow & Torch which symbolizes Cupid the god of love.  This is an antique watch from the 1900s and it is a spectacular piece of horological jewelry with such interesting symbolism masterfully crafted onto the caseback.  It also has 6 pieces of diamonds adorning the caseback.  Nicely designed with a bottom loop to attach a neck chain that allows this pendant watch to be worn from either top or bottom.  The high-relief applique is masterfully made with highly raised to be very 3D in appearance and the entire case is elaborated engraved and adorned throughout.  On the dustcover it was engraved with year 1908.  There is no signature on the dial and on the movement it’s marked with Rowe Bros Chicago and the movement is a bridge model nickle Longines with 15 jewels.
