REMARKS: IWC Pilot’s Watch Top Gun Miramar Chronograph in robust 46mm Ceramic Case (Titanium Caseback and Buckle). Model reference is IW388002. In terms of IWC’s aviation-inspired sports watches the Top Gun Miramar series is the most high-grade being manufactured in black ceramic case that has been finished to a sumptuous black sheen. The Top Gun Emblem shows this wonderful collaboration between IWC and US Navy Fighter Weapons School to create a line of highly functional and technically perfect timepieces meant for the rigors of fighter jet pilots. IWC Top Gun Watches are all fitted with ceramic cases paired with Titanium components to make them more robust and scratch resistant. Besides being a technical marvel the design is superbly functional and coherent with fighter jet instrument and having the ‘Miramar’ designation also means this watch is done in a specialized muted color scheme which brings out the technical sportiness to the max. Inside the watch an IWC calibre 89365 serves as the workhorse with 38 jewels. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) $11,900.
CONDITION REPORT: Condition-wise the watch is running flawlessly with all of the functions working well including the chronograph and the date calendar functions. The watch has not been serviced by us and we do not offer timekeeping or any functional guarantee. Ultimately the decision to service the watch is the sole responsibility of the end user. Cosmetically this watch is in excellent pre-owned condition. We do not see any apparent defect to the scratch resistant ceramic case and the sapphire crystal is also very clean. Titanium caseback has some tiny surface scratches nearly invisible to the naked eye. The IWC green fabric & leather strap currently fitted on the watch is pre-owned and worn quite a bit. It will wear between 7-8” inches in length. We will also supply a replacement Barton fabric strap which from the outside looks nearly the same as the original IWC strap Overall it is a pre-owned watch in great shape ready for its next owner. It comes with IWC Box (vinyl peeling), IWC Gurantee Card (dealer sticker, undated) and IWC polish cloth. Guaranteed 100% authentic. Diameter is 46mm.
