Wonderful complicated antique timepiece: C.H. Meylan Split Seconds Chronograph ‘Rattrapante’ Pocket Watch in beautiful 18K Pink Gold Open Face Case. C.H. Meylan was an Elite Swiss Watchmaking Trademark from 1880s-1900s and the quality of their products rivaled the best such as Patek Philippe and Vacheron Constantin. This particular example is a high grade C.H. Meylan Split Seconds Chronograph ‘Rattrapante’ Pocket Watch which contains many top grade features exemplified by this highly respected brand. It contains solid gold chatons or jewel settings and superbly finished springs and levers in all hand-finished parts done with chamfering and high polish throughout.
