The case is in wonderful shape with a very shallow mark in the middle of the caseback and near the bottom hinge on the caseband. Bow and Pendant are hallmarked with 18K gold as well. |

Stauffer & Co. Open Face 18K Rattrapante Split Seconds Chronograph Pocket Watch with Top Grade features built into the movement. It is a massive watch at 54mm and weighs a whopping 144.4g! This pocket watch is great in every facet and has rare features such as a counter-clockwise 60min chronograph counter at 12 O’clock. The entire complicated Rattrapante Split Seconds Chronograph Mechanism is built on the top side of the movement displaying the magnificent central split control wheel. Base movement is finished in gilt and all of the chronograph parts are made in bright polished steel. This pocket watch has been hallmarked with the Stauffer & Co logo on the movement and the case. The 18K solid gold case has been hallmarked with London gold mark and it has been built to be extra heavy.
