SWISS D&C 14K Ladies Multi-Color Enamel Hunter Case Pendant Watch w/Christmas Holly and Leaf & Pansy Pin Yellow Gold

REMARKS: In this listing we are posting a stunning Swiss (Unmarked) 14K Solid Gold Pendant/Pocket/Pin Watch for Ladies that is fully adorned with Multi-color Enamel depicting Christmas decoration by a young lady with Christmas Holly on the front cover and the back cover has an entire Christmas Holly plant with red and white background.  The 14K Solid Gold Pin paired with the Pin/Pendant Watch also has Multi-color enameling throughout.  It is a work-of-art where the enamel was applied in a very thin layer to the leaf to allow the underlying gold texture to peer through and create a highly life-like effect.  The purple/lavender floral object (probably Viola Pansy) is also done masterfully so that the flower petals reflect a gradient of purple coloring and the shapes of the petals emulate the life-likeness of the flower.  There are also one diamond and one natural pearl on the pin to give it extra flair.  There is a mark for D&C inside the front and back covers which is probably for the casemaker.  Inside the watch a Swiss cylinder gilt movement is used and the watch is from around the 1890s.

CONDITION REPORT: Condition-wise the watch runs and stops therefore we cannot guarantee timekeeping accuracy or longevity as we don’t know its service history.  Antique pocket watches like this specimen will likely need full service to run normally, it is the sole decision and responsibility of end-user to service or not.  Pin/Pendant ladies watches are mostly decorative so depending on intend of use it may not need to be an accurate timekeeper to serve its purpose.  We will not accept return based on claim of functional issues.  Cosemetically there is a slight bit of enamel loss at the very edge of the leaf on pin.  At the tip of the leaf where there is red color there is also a bit of the enamel cracking.  Both the front and back cover multi-color enamel panels are fully intact and in good shape.  There is a bit of enamel loss to some of the blue edge enameling on the caseback on the side of the Christmas Holly.  Please check the enlarged pics carefully for any concerns and feel free to inquire.  Diameter is 26mm, total weight is 22.2 grams.
