The dial has a surface hairline that is very hard to running through the 11 o’clock marker. Diameter is 50mm. |

REMARKS: Minty and gorgeous Multi-Color Cased Pocket Watches we have ever handled in this Elgin 16 Size Grade 299 Gold Filled Hunter Case Pocket Watch. First of all the case is in astounishingly mint shape that appears to have been barely or ever been used. The multi-color gold appliques on the case front and back covers are sharp to touch and they feel like the day that they were sold brand new. This gorgeous case is paired with a marvlous multi-color dial with pink undertone and gold & silver appliques throughout. Inside the watch it houses an Elgin 16 size Grade 299 15 Jewels movement from 1905.
CONDITION REPORT: Condition-wise the watch winds and runs well but we have not timed or had it serviced so we don’t offer any guarantee on timekeeping. Most likely it will require full service if the owner wants to use it frequently. Cosmetically the outer parts of the case are in absolutely mint condition. Inside the front and back covers there are attempts to do engine turning which caused the inner parts to tarnish and discolor a bit. Rest of the case is in great shape.
