| CONDITION: | Runs, Winds, Sets, Not Serviced. Cosmetically the case engravings are wonderful and very sharp with no wear through. There are a few dents towards the outside edge of the case band but nothing significant. The melamine dial is in good condition with just a few faint scratches between 9-10 o’clock markers. The hands are all bold type railroad pocket watch style ones that are original. The original crystal is plastic/acrylic in very clean shape with only slight surface scratches. Diameter is 51mm. |

Excellent Hamilton 992B ‘Railway Special’ 16 size 21 jewels Pocket Watch. This 992B comes with a model 11 Hamilton 10K Gold Filled Case in Railroad Pocket Watch style. It was made in 1948 and it still feels as nice as the back then when it was sold. Correct for the time period when it was made this pocket watch carried a melamine dial in double sunk style and it has the ‘Railway Special’ text signifying that it is a Railroad grade timekeeper.
