| CONDITION: | Runs, Winds, Sets, Not Serviced. Cosmetically once again the watch is in great shape for its age with the gold-filled case in wonderful shape with no brassing. The enamel dial is in wonderful shape with no hairline crack or chip. There is a bit of tarnish to the inside of the front cover and to the bezel. Overall this is a very fancy and nice example of an Antique Hunter Case 18 Size American Pocket Watch. Diameter is 55mm. |

REMARKS: Waltham 18 Size Gold Filled Hunter Case in great condition with a nicely kept Model 1883 Grade 825 Movement with 17 jewels. This pocket watch from 1907 has fantastic engraving to the front and back covers with one depicting a river running through a small town and mountains in the distance as well as another depicting sailboat and lighthouse. All of the engravings are still sharp and clear. For collectors and fans of pocket watches this is a great item to own without paying the high prices for solid gold cases which have now skyrocketed due to gold price increase. Even through this is a gold filled case it has a sizable chunk of solid gold intrinsically as the gold-filled case is made from outer layers of solid gold.
CONDITION REPORT: Condition-wise the watch winds and runs well but we have not timed or had it serviced so we don’t offer any guarantee on timekeeping. Most likely it will require full service if the owner wants to use it frequently. Cosmetically once again the watch is in great shape for its age with the gold-filled case in wonderful shape with no brassing. The enamel dial is in wonderful shape with no hairline crack or chip.
