REMARKS: Spectacular Elgin 14K Solid Gold Enamel Pocket Watch with Scallops shaped case. This is a great example of American made enameling art at its best. Both the front and back covers are enameled throughout, including an ivory/bone colored background panel of sailboat. The entire case is engraved and enameled and even the case band is done in scalloped edges. Inside the watch it houses a 6 size Elgin 13 jewel movement in gilt. Overall it’s just a rare watch with top notch artistry all around.
CONDITION REPORT: Condition-wise this watch is not running suggesting it will need a service to get it fully operational. Thus we do not guarantee timekeeping accuracy or longevity for this watch.
