| CONDITION: | Runs, Winds, Sets, Not Serviced. Split Seconds Chronograph Works Well to Split the Top and Bottom Center Chronograph Hands. These two center split second hands have a tiny bit of misalignment which is hard to spot. Cosmetically the watch is in excellent shape. Dial is in mint condition with no defects, the case has no dings or dents, and the movement is complete with only slight bit of rust tarnish on the steel parts. |

Heirloom grade antique pocket watch for sale. This is an Agassiz & Co 18K Solid Gold Split Seconds Chronograph ‘Rattrapante’ Pocket Watch from the 1890s. The size of this Split Seconds Chronograph Pocket Watch is very impressive at 51mm and 111.2g. It is scarce to see Rattrapante complicated pocket watch in this oversized dimension and certainly the Agassiz & Co name adds to its value tremendously. Agassiz & Co. is one of the finest Swiss watch brands of high grade pocket watches from 1880s until around 1920s when it was consolidated into Longines. Agassiz & Co’s high quality is evident in every aspect of the movement.
