The crown has worn down a bit. This watch is very large and heavy at 52mm and 137.8g total weight. |

REMARKS: A. Lange & Sohne Top Quality 1A 18K Solid Gold Hunter Pocket Watch in Excellent Condition with all original parts. This pocket watch was made from an early era of the A. Lange watch manufacturer since it is only signed with A. Lange and Dresden on the dial and the serial number is within 4-digits which indicates it was made before 1870s when the first of the Lange Sons jointed the business. The high quality of work is evident from this earliest era of the famed watch brand, this particular specimen was made to be a top grade watch that could rival the best watches in the world. This watch has all of the fine features such as Saxony-style Glashutte ¾ plate layout, diamond end-stone, solid gold escape wheel & fork, blued-screws and much more. The 18K case serial number matches the movement to prove that the watch is 100% original.
