Art Deco pocket watch in this Haas Neveux Private Label for Dreicer & Co. with Blue Enamel adorning the entire caseback which has Guilloche Engine-Turning underneath along with a customized diamond filigree emblem on the caseback. Even the case body has white enamel embellishment. The movement is one of the best of the 1900-1920s with Geneva Seals on the center bridge and underneath the balance. And with its ultra thin profile, it is still equipped with large ruby jewels at 18-19j total. Dreicer & Co. was a top echelon New York jeweler in the late 19th to early 20 century which imported and sold many top Swiss watch brands.
CONDITION REPORT: Condition-wise the watch winds and runs but we cannot guarantee any functional or mechanical elements as this is an antique timepiece over 100 years in age. Cosmetically the ‘Dreicer & Co’ text on the dial is refinished (repainted) based on the original dial print. The enameling has some light chips and losses near the pendant but in general it is complete throughout. There is no hallmark on the case and it was verified to be 18K solid gold by tester. Diameter is 48mm, Thickness is approximately 5mm, total weight 52.3g.
