REMARKS: Patek Philippe 18K Gold Pocket/Pendant Watch originally sold through the famous Bailey Banks & Biddle Jewelers based in Philadelphia.  Size of the watch is very rare and small for Patek Philippe at only 28mm diameter for the case.  The movement is a ‘Special’ grade with wolf teeth winding wheels and mustache lever fork which are top grade features in the larger sized movements from Patek Philippe.  Interestingly, this pendant watch also has monotone blue enamel on the case and bow as well as the caseback initials.  It must’ve been a very treasured piece of possession as great care is shown in purchasing and customizing.

CONDITION REPORT: Condition-wise the watch is running strong but we cannot guarantee any functional or mechanical elements as this is an antique timepiece over 100 years in age.  We do not guarantee timekeeping accuracy or longevity for this watch.  It has not been serviced and we recommend for any and all antique pocket watches to undergo service by a trusted watchmaker to extend its usage life.  Cosmetically the tiny pendant watch is in fine condition for its age.  As this watch is circa 1890s the enameling is nearly all intact.  The enamel dial has a scratch at the minute track between 4-5 o’clock but there is no apparent hairline crack.  Solid 18K gold case has no ding or dent, although there is some denting on top of the bow.  Diameter is 28mm.
