High grade antique timepiece from Patek Philippe & Co. in 18K Solid Yellow Gold Case as well as the very desirable white enamel dial. This PP & Co Pocket Watch has been fully engraved on the caseback containing the presentation from the original owner’s Grandfather on April 29th 1933. It is hard to imagine at the heart of the Great Depression era in the 1930’s that this luxury watch was presented to a beloved Grandson which would have cost a lot of money. This pocket watch is an embodiment of what makes Patek Philippe watches so highly-regarded and so fine in the world of horology. The clean white enamel dial is wonderful and clean and it is paired with original Louis XIV style filigree gold hands. Like most if not all Patek Philippe watches, this watch has a top grade movement with nickle finish and comes with 18 ruby jewels. Conforming with 1920-30s design the pocket watch has a thin profile. This watch was retailed by Loring Andrews & Co. of Cincinnati Ohio which was engraved on both the dustcover and movement with the name of this historical jewelry store in Cincinnati since 1805.
