REMARKS: Wonderful Pocket Watch for sale. This is a private label Haas Neveux 18K Solid Gold Pocket Watch with Top Grade 21 Jewels Movement stamped with Geneva Seals. The movement has all of the top grade features such as wolf teeth winding wheels, solid gold jewel settings, and finely chamfered wheel tooth. The 18K solid gold case is also a work-of-art with extra fine engravings in feather and floral patterns throughout. The entire pocket watch weighs a hefty 99 grams which is extremely heavy for a 50mm diameter open faced pocket watch. It was made for W.E. Hadlock & Co. Boston Mass. From the movement features and style we estimate the watch to be made around 1900.

CONDITION REPORT: Condition-wise the watch winds, sets, and runs but we cannot guarantee timekeeping accuracy or longevity as this is an antique timepiece that has not been serviced.   For any antique watch movement we always recommend for the owner to conduct full service with qualified watchmaker to ensure longevity of the mechanism. Cosmetically the movement has some surface rust. The enamel dial is in mint condition with no hairline or chip.   The highly chased engraved case is in excellent condition, with personalized initial on the caseback and name engraved on the dustcover.
