REMARKS: Classic Chronowiss Regulator ‘Regulateur’ Automatic Wristwatch Ref. CH1223 ISB.  The Chronoswiss Regulator Watch was an original designed by its founder Gerd-R. Lange in 1988.  This design was a world’s first in wristwatches by placing the hour and seconds in separate sub-dials with large center minute hand display and the inspiration was taken from Regulateur clocks of the late 18^th century.  This type of dial layout allowed for true precision timekeeping since the hour hand will not block the second hand.  Chronoswiss was the first to adapt this into a wristwatch and many other brands followed later.  Therefore the Regulateur is one of the all time favorite models of Chronoswiss and really represents the brand.  This current specimen is scarcer with its patented stainless steel bracelet specifically designed to fit Chronoswiss watches.  It has all of the signature design features for Chronoswiss such as coin-edged bezel and caseback rim, onion shaped crown, classic-style lugs, and a pocket-watch style dial.  Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) in 1999 is $3,800.

CONDITION REPORT: Condition-wise the watch is running and keeping time well.  We have not had it serviced therefore we do not offer timekeeping or functional guarantee.  It is under the sole discretion of the end-user in regards to service or maintenance.  Cosmetically the watch is in very good condition pre-owned with only slight surface scratches.  Sapphire crystals front and back are clean and scratch-free.  The stainless steel bracelet wear up to 7.7” inches in length.  No box or paperwork, guaranteed 100% authentic.  Diameter is 38mm.
