Absolutely stunning and superbly rare 18K Rose Gold Boucheron ‘MEC Jungle Collection’ Limited Edition Ladies Jewelry Wristwatch with Chameleon adornment. In 2007 Boucheron created a limited series of 126 pieces of animal-themed jewelry wristwatches using its distinctive MEC cushion-cased watches as the template. Within this limited series of watches only 6pcs carries the famous Boucheron ‘Chameleon’ which is one of the most beloved animal themes and what makes Boucheron jewelry so special and distinctive. On top of being a stunning piece of ultra-luxury jewelry, Boucheron collaborated with Girard-Perregaux to genuinely create a piece of haute horology by using a GP caliber 4000 in-house movement specially designed for Boucheron timepieces. The MEC jungle models marked the beginning of collaboration between Boucheron and Girard-Perregaux thus the automatic rotor was made special for this watch in the shape of Chameleon to complement the jewelry theme. Thus no matter viewed in terms of design, rarity, ingenuity, and horological prowess this watch is all-encompassing and a true piece of jewelry/horology art. It is nearly impossible to find another one of the only six pieces of this watch ever made as they are probably all treasured by owners as heirloom collectibles.
