Unique 1970-1980s Baume Mercier Ladies Watch with Filigree Adornment on the case in 14K Solid Gold. Many of the Ladies Wristwatches from the 1930s onward until about the mid-1980s were highly ornamental and this is a good example of the intricate filigree gold metalwork applied to its case. The highly raised filigree appears as a vine intertwined on the case to give it a very specialized look. Inside the watch a Baume Mercier Swiss mechanical hand-winding movement serves as the timekeeper. This watch measures 30mm in diameter and 31mm in length (from lug to lug).
