This is one of the most unique offerings we’ve ever presented for sale. We have a highly coveted, extremely rare and superbly collectible MB&F Horological Machine N.5 HM5 Limited Edition Wristwatch in Zirconium and Stainless Steel. The watch aficionados familiar with MB&F’s astounding creations all know that the brand is one of the greatest independent watchmaking brands of the current era with their unbelievable designs and concepts. Built from a consortium of independent master watchmakers, engineers, designers, and artists, with Maximilian Büsser at the helm, this brand has definitely turned mechanical watchmaking into an amalgamation of machine-making and artform. This current MB&F Horological Machine N.5 was only made in 66pcs and has the nickname ‘On the Road Again’ taking inspiration from supercars in the 1970s such as Lamborhini Miura, Lotus Esprit or Lancia Stratos. The MB&F HM5 was the first wedge-shaped ‘drivers’ wristwatch created by the brand which gave rise to later models such as HMX and HM8. Since each MB&F creation is extremely unique, the HM5 alone has ‘louvres’ or shutters on the top side of the watch that can be opened to allow light penetration onto the luminous hour and minute disks. It is also the only MB&F creation that was made with outer and inner cases along with exhaust ports to drain water. Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) $63,000.
CONDITION REPORT: Condition-wise the watch is pre-owned but very well cared for my previous owners to show minimal wear. All of the operational functions work flawlessly. The case has some fine scratches but other than that it is in fantastic shape. It comes with full set Inner/Outer Boxes, MB&F Horological Lab International Warranty Booklet, Instruction Booklet, and Paperwork Holder Wallet. Dimensions of the watch is 51.5mm (length) x 49mm (width) x 22.5mm (depth).
