Wonderful Vacheron & Constantin ‘Phidias’ Automatic Chronograph Wristwatch Ref 49001/967M-3 in Two Tone 18K Gold & Stainless Steel. It also comes with complete boxes/paperwork making it an incredibly collectible timepiece set. Vacheron & Constantin is well-known throughout the world as one of the pillar brand of fine Swiss watchmaking. It is also the oldest continuously operating watch brands in the world. As a top-tier ultra-luxury watch brand all of the products made by Vacheron & Constantin is greatly refined and exorbitantly priced. This particular model in the Phidias was the flagship model for men’s watch as well as one of the top priced models in the 1990s. Everything about this watch is seeped in ultra-refined luxury with lacquered dial, coin-edged bezel and caseback, coin-edge crown guard, satin-finished bracelet links with mirror-polished spacers and much more. It houses an automatic chronometer-grade chronograph movement inside. This is the largest V&C Phidias model with 35mm diameter without measuring the crown and comes in very stylish two-tone finish where all of the link middle cap is made in solid gold. Wear length for the watch is full links at 8.3″ inches.
