Wonderful Glashutte Original Senator Perpetual Calendar Wristwatch with full set box and paperwork in Like New Condition.  Model reference is 100-02-22-12-05.  Perpetual Calendar has always been one of the most desirable ultra complicated functions in luxury watches since the modern revival of mechanical horology in the late 1980s.  Every top tier watch brand strives to design a perpetual calendar model that not only incorporates this spectacular function but also to display their watchmaking craft by distinctive ways to display the full calendar including leap year.  Glashutte Original has very successfully achieved in making a classic and legible perpetual calendar in this model where the full calendar is laid out in easy-to-read windows plus the moonphase and leap year indicated by the small dot window just below the brand trademark.  As with any top tier watchmaker Glashutte Original redesigned its in-house movement to incorporate this highly complicated function and the result is the wonderful automatic caliber 100-02 movement with 59 jewels.  Even though the watch has a very large diameter 42mm case, Glashutte Original’s elegant yet robust case design makes it very easy to wear even on skinnier wrist without sacrificing masculinity.  Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) is $19,100.
