REMARKS: SOLD, PLEASE INQUIRE
Ultra-luxury Ulysse Nardin Automatic Tourbillon Wristwatch. The model reference is 1283-181/E0 and this watch is built from stainless steel. Tourbillon watches have long been testaments to a watch brand’s prestige and are usually priced at the extreme high-end of the price spectrum. It is one of the hardest complications to design, execute and manufacture and it holds a special place in haute horology. This particular Ulysse Nardin Marine Automatic Tourbillon is a no-frills watch with this top grade complication for watch enthusiasts dreaming of owning one can now actually afford it. Similar to the Ulysse Nardin Marine Chronometer Watches, this watch comes with power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock and large Roman Numeral Hour Markers. Classically designed, the watch carries a beautifully executed enamel dial that few watches outside the likes of Patek Philippe and Breguet will have this feature. The enamel dials were the choice for many antique pocket watches in the 18-19th Centuries but they are rarely seen today. Inside the watch there is a 36 jewels Caliber UN-128 ticking away. Again executed to haute horology standards with Ulysse Nardin’s signature anchor rotor. Screws are blued to show contrast on both the tourbillon cage and movement side that harkons to the nautical theme Ulysse Nardin is famously known for. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) $34,900.
