REMARKS: Wonderful Vintage Omega Constellation PIE PAN Dial Curved Lugs Mens Chronometer Wristwatch with Gold Dial.  Model reference is 168.005/6 SC-62.  This is as good as it’s going to get for a rare and collectible vintage wristwatch.  Omega Constellation from the 1960s with Gold Pie-Pan Dial and Curved lugs are highly coveted for their luxury and legendary look.  Even after more than 60 years this watch still looks very luxurious and stylish.  Vintage Omega Constellation Watches with Pie-Pan Gold Dials represent one of the highest priced models with only a small fraction of the total production.  Inside the watch a chronometer-grade Omega Cal.561 serves as the timekeeper.  Overall this watch is just a wonderful package of desirable and collectible attributes for a vintage wristwatch.

CONDITION REPORT: Condition-wise the watch runs and sets.  The quickset date function via crown pull-out IS NOT WORKING currently but the date will change correctly by turning the hands.  It has not been tested for timekeeping so we do not know how long or accurate it can function.  Therefore we do not provide any timekeeping or functional guarantees for vintage or antique timepieces, please perform service with reputable watchmaker at your own discretion.  PLEASE DO NOT EXPOSE IT TO MOISTURE OR DIP IT IN WATER AS IT IS NOT ASSUMED TO BE WATER RESISTANT.  Cosmetically the Piepan Gold Dial is 100% original with a slight scratch at the 17 minute position.  The case is in good shape not overpolished with the caseback observatory emblem with sharp stars.  18K hallmarks are sharp and visible as well.  There are a few case opening marks on the caseback from careless opening in the past.  The crown is original Omega.  Leather strap fitted is aftermarket and it’s in great condition ready to be worn.  No box or paperwork.  Diameter is 35mm.
