REMARKS: Spectacular Rolex 18238 Double QuickSet Day-Date ‘President’ 18K Solid Gold Wristwatch with Factory Wood ‘Walnut’ Dial.  The entire watch is 100% original and authentic, and it was made in 1990 with E serial number.  This flagship Rolex President was the quintessential ultra-luxury mens wristwatch from 1988-2000 and it was the first double quickset model in Rolex’s lineup.  Having a Walnut Wood Dial means a surplus was paid for it when purchased new, and it is quite rare to see since not many were made with this dial.

CONDITION REPORT: Condition-wise the watch has been serviced by its last owner several years ago and it still performs superbly with excellent timekeeping.  However, since we’ve not serviced it during our ownership we do not provide guarantee to its function and longevity.  Cosmetically overall the watch is in very good shape with its 100% original Wood/Walnut dial which has no chip or crack.  Letter ‘Y’ in ‘Oyster’ on this dial has a tiny bit of loss of print which can only be seen by magnification so we’ve provided a magnified picture showing that section.  The sapphire crystal has no scratch or chip.  The 18K solid gold case and bracelet are in great shape with the bracelet having a mild bend/sag and it still feels quite solid on the wrist.  It can wear up to 7.5” inches snugly.  Besides occasional surface scratches, this watch has not been overpolished and the edges of the case, caseback, bracelet and buckle are still quite sharp.  It comes with Rolex President Wood/Leather Box, Day-Date and Oyster Booklets, guaranteed 100% authentic.  Diameter is 36mm.
