REMARKS: Vintage Vacheron Constantin 18K Solid Gold Hand-Winding Wristwatch from the 1960s. Model Reference is 6990 and it’s full dimension is 25mm width x 31mm length. Design for this watch comes in a rectangular shape with curved sides that makes it slightly similar to a cushion shape. It comes with an original linen texture dial (with some damage at the corners) and the legendary cal.1003 ultra-thin hand winding movement. The original crown is signed with the maltese cross.
CONDITION REPORT: Condition-wise the watch is winding and running but we have not tested it extensively and it has not been serviced thus we do not make any timekeeping or functional guarantees on the watch. Being a vintage watch, we strongly recommend to have it serviced to perform well and we leave this decision to the end-user. PLEASE DO NOT EXPOSE IT TO MOISTURE OR DIP IT IN WATER AS IT IS NOT ASSUMED TO BE WATER RESISTANT. Cosmetically the linen dial is 100% original but it has damages around the corners. It appears the gloss coating on the dial corners is peeling off. This does not affect the texts or markers printed on the dial which are all legible. The 18K solid gold case has been polished in the past with the gold hallmark barely visible. Crown is original V&C maltese cross. Strap and buckle are aftermarket (not V&C). No box or paperwork, guaranteed 100% authentic. Dimensions 25mm (width) x 31mm (length).
