REMARKS: Amazing find in the Lord Elgin 14K Solid Gold Mens Watch Presented to Master Draftsman of the famous Fisher Body Company upon retirement with all original accessories of Inner/Outer Box, Guarantee Booklet, Presentation Booklet and Product Tag. Being presented by Fisher Body Company, the dial carries the iconic antique automobile coach logo on its dial. Inside the watch a very robust and good movement in the Lord Elgin cal.670 with 21 jewels was used.
CONDITION REPORT: Condition-wise the watch wind and runs but has not been serviced so we cannot guarantee timekeeping accuracy. We also do not guarantee any functional elements of this watch and will leave the decision for maintenance or service to the end user. IT IS A VINTAGE WATCH AND NOT WATER-RESISTANT. Cosmetically the watch is in very good condition for its age. For a 70+ years old watch it still has its original crystal all in ready-to-go cosmetic shape. The caseback has its history and provenance, it remains unpolished in its original presentation shape. The original dial has some very faint spotting. Brown Genuine Leather Watch strap is not Elgin (aftermarket). Dimensions are 21mm (width) x 36mm (length lug to lug). Comes with its original boxes including the bakelite plastic box, Guarantee Booklet, Presentation Booklet and Product Tag. It is really a time-capsule from the 1950s and a wonderful collectible vintage watch rare to come by today.
