REMARKS: Marvelous piece of antique pocket watch history as a true collectible piece of horology. This Hamilton model 921 14K Solid Gold Pocket Watch was given as 25yrs Service Presentation to Berkshire Knitting Mills which was the predecessor of today’s Berkshire Hathaway Conglomerate headed by Warren Buffet. The watch is in great mint condition as various owners really treasured it and it appears to never have been used. It comes as complete set that the original owner’s name is printed along with Hamilton trademark on an outer sticker of the box as well as the movement and case serial numbers matching the watch. This is as good as it gets for a presentation pocket watch from the 1940s.

CONDITION REPORT: Condition-wise the watch winds and runs but it has not been serviced (it has probably never been serviced and just kept in the safe) so we do not make any mechanical or operational guarantee.   It has not been serviced by the seller and it’s under the sole discretion of the end-user in regards to service or maintenance. PLEASE DO NOT EXPOSE IT TO MOISTURE OR DIP IT IN WATER AS IT IS NOT ASSUMED TO BE WATER RESISTANT. Cosmetically the watch is in MINT CONDITION for its age with barely any scratch to the case. The dial is in perfect shape and so is the movement. It comes with its original blue outer box with stickers for the watch model, material, serial numbers, and original owners name as well as the inner ivory colored bakelite box with intact blue felt all in excellent condition.   Diameter is 44.5mm, total weight is 58.8g. Collectors really can take great advantage to own a piece of history in such great shape and the value of such as treasure will only increase with time.
