| CONDITION: | Runs, Winds, Sets, Not Serviced. Cosmetically the enamel dial has a few tiny edge chips at the lever, 54min, and 58min positions. There is no observable hairline. The movement is in great condition with just some tiny spots of rust or oxidation to the bright steel parts. The J.Boss 25 years gold filled case has wear through to the brass at the pendant and edge of the bezel. Crown and bow has worn down and caseback engraving details are mostly worn down. It is still a great serviceable case. Diameter is 55mm. |

Official RR Standard Pocket Watch from BALL WATCH CO. with Hamilton made Grade 999A 21 Jewels Movement. First of all the movement damascening pattern is astounding having a wavy ‘Sunburst’ pattern. BALL Watch Co was the brand and distributor of the pocket watch while Hamilton Watch Co was the manufacturer and it’s well know how high grade Hamilton products can be. Being an open faced, lever set, and 21 jewels watch this watch qualifies for railroad standard of precision timekeeping. Based on archive this watch was made in 1908.
