The Chronograph function works by depressing the crown at 12 o’clock but the split seconds function is current not working. Cosmetically the enamel dial is in excellence shape and movement is very clean. It will include its winding stem and crown. Diameter is 45mm. |

‘Chronometre’ Swiss Brand Helical Hairspring Chronometer Pocket Watch Movement with Detent Escapement. The ‘Chronometre’ brand was one of the most active and numerous producers of helical hairspring mechanisms in the later part of 19th Century. This particular movement was housed in a massive case with the dial diameter at 48mm (movement diameter is smaller at 45mm).
CONDITION REPORT: Condition-wise the movement is not running. We have not had the movement taken apart but it looks like the helical hairspring is off-center and not geometrically sound. We do not guarantee or have any warranty for movements used for parts. Cosmetically the enamel dial is in excellence shape and movement is very clean. It will include its winding stem and crown. Diameter is 45mm.
