REMARKS: Ultra-rare Leopold Huguenin Rattrapante Split Seconds Quarter Seconds Jump Chronograph with Tandem Wind Pocket Watch Movement from around the 1870s. It is ultra-rare to find the combination of Split Seconds Chronograph, Quarter Seconds Jump Display, and Tandem Wind all incorporated in a single movement. Leopold Huguenin from Locle Switzerland is a small production but well-known maker of complicated watches of the best quality from the 1870-1890s. This movement is no exception to the high quality standard of this maker that it has all of the features of a top grade complicated pocket watch finished in nickle. Unfortunately for sure it was separately away from a massive 18K gold hunter case and we acquired the movement as is.
