REMARKS: A wonderful piece of antique horology we are presenting with this Geo. (George) E. Allen London Ruby Duplex Escapement Fusee Pocket Watch Movement. This must have been one of the top works of the maker with a rarely seen ruby duplex escapement and compensation balance. The faceted diamond cap jewel is simply majestic on this watch as well. Engravings on the movement also reads: ‘Red Lion Passage’ in script font.
