Fantastic Plojoux 18K Gold Enamel Pocket Watch with Extra Heavy Case and with the ebauche (base movement) made by Vacheron & Constantin. It is very obvious to see the excellent quality of this pocket watch from every aspect of its movement, case, and design. The 18K Solid Gold Case is Extra Heavy for this size at 48mm diameter and weighing 82.5g. Entire bezel and edge of caseback has been enameled in blue geometric pattern that resembles Turkish designs. The case was adorned with intricate engravings and an extra long pendant. It comes in pin-set button at 11 o’clock suggesting that it is an earlier watch from the 1880s. The movement has 18-19 large ruby jewels with nickle finish. It is from the movement that we can see it’s a Vacheron Constantin ebauche (base movement) that has been signed and cased to retail as the Plojoux brand. It is also extra nice that the movement and case serial number match, and that the dial is also signed Plojoux Geneve.
