Rare and fabulous Patek Philippe 18K Gold Hunter Case Pocket Watch from 1911 subjected to Geneva Observatory Chronometer Testing and marked ‘Extra’ on the movement. Patek Philippe Archive Paper has been obtained for it which states it as being an Obervatory Chronometer tested timepiece. It is exceedingly rare to find Patek Philippe Pocket Watches that had been subjected to chronometer testing and this particular specimen is even more rare since it was made in the hunter case configuration. Any Patek Philippe Hunter Cased Pocket Watch already command a signficantly higher premium being much scarcer than open faced models let alone having Observatory Chronometer tested rating. Being a highly rated and tested watch, it carries many top ‘Extra’ grade features such as Guillaume balance wheel, solid gold chaton for center jewel, wolf teeth winding wheels, counterpoised lever fork and more.
