REMARKS: Patek Philippe Open Face 18K Solid Gold Pocket Watch from the 1940s. This particular pocket watch features a caliber 17’’’ Lignes movement with 8 adjustments including heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions. The fact that it has US import marks fits its presentation date of 1941 engraved on the dustcover. Just with any Patek Philippe watch, this pocket watch was masterfully made with no details overlooked. The sector-type dial is highly nostalgic of the 1930-1940s with it contrasting concentric layers. Many enthusiasts today would argue that the best Patek Philippe products were built from the 1940-1960s and this watch definitely shows a great top grade watch.
CONDITION REPORT: Condition-wise the watch winds and runs but we cannot guarantee its function since this is a vintage watch that hasn’t been serviced. We strongly recommend for any and all vintage antique pocket watches to undergo service by a trusted watchmaker to extend its usage life.
