REMARKS: Ultra-luxury and exclusively designed Ladies Wristwatch by Breguet in this Reine de Naples Ref.8918BA/58/964/D00D 18K Yellow Gold Timepiece.  Historically the Queen of Naples Caroline Murat, who was Napolean Bonaparte’s sister ordered an oblong/oval watch for wear on wrist from the house of Breguet in year 1811.  This custom timepiece was deemed the world’s first wristwatch, it only survives as records on Breguet’s company archive and after the last entry of service in 1855 it was never seen again.  Only several details are known about this watch in that it was made to be a wristwatch for the lady, it was made in solid gold, and it was oblong/oval in shape.  Today Breguet has revived this masterpiece with only these few known facts and recreated the Reine de Naples Ladies Haute Horologie timepieces.  This particular example 8918BA is one of the most distinctive and recognizable model representing the whole Reine de Naples Collection.  Made with 18K yellow gold case, it has a total of 146pcs diamonds adorning the bezel, buckle, crown and dial.  Special to this Breguet Reine de Naples model there is one pear-shaped diamond at 0.08ct on the dial and a sizable Briolette-cut diamond on the crown.  Technically it is also excellent with an in-house manufacturer automatic movement caliber 537/3 with 26 jewels and comes with 21K engine-turned rotor.  The oblong/oval case measures 28.5×36.5mm.  It is an ultra luxury product based on rich heritage of this wonderful brand, truly unique and incomparable in today’s over-abundance of high-end wristwatches.  Manufacture Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) $52,100.

CONDITION REPORT: Condition-wise the watch is functioning normally where it runs, winds, and keeps time well.  However, since we’ve not serviced it during our ownership we do not provide guarantee to its function and longevity.  Cosmetically the timepiece is in very good overall shape with the normal faint scratches/surface-wear from being pre-owned.  There are a few very minor dings to the bezel and case and three tiny chips to the edge of the crystal.  These condition flaws are not apparent under the naked eye and we only mention these to be transparent about condition.  These flaws do not distract against the beauty of the watch at all.  The case HAS NOT BEEN POLISHED thus the hallmarks are all sharp and clear unlike many other specimen out there.  The Breguet black alligator strap is in very good used condition with lots of wear life ahead.  It comes with original Breguet white wooden box with instruction manual, guaranteed 100% authentic.  Dimensions are 28.5×36.5mm.
