Ebel 1911 Tekton Automatic Chronograph in Stainless Steel Case and Folding Buckle with the Ebel’s famous Cal.137 Movement.  The model reference is E9137L83.  The Ebel Tekton is the largest of all of Ebel’s watch collection at 48mm in diameter and was designed to be super sporty with rubber bezel accents and rubber chronograph pushers.  Calibre 137 is quite the miraculous creation as in 1995 both Ebel and Lemania co-developed this movement in an age where automatic chronographs were in great shortage.  Even today this movement remains important as Ulysse Nardin purchased the patent to Ebel calibre 137 and developed into their in-house UN-150 movement.  Overall design of this Ebel watch fits the sportiness of the 1911 line with a part-round and part-hexagonal case along with six screws affixing the bezel.  The silver dial is quite intricate with various engine turned patterns for the various sub-dials and a sectional part from 1:30-4:30 in darker gray.  Red chronograph hands puts the final touches to complete this great looking sports watch.  Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) $8,950.
