Extremely Rare Gerald Genta Skeleton Semi-Vintage Automatic Wristwatch in 18K Two Tone Solid Yellow & White Gold and comes in the famous OCTAGONAL case shape that has made Gerald Genta’s design world-famous.  The hand-engraved model reference is G.2156.  As a designer, Mr. Gerald Genta achieved everlasting greatness by designing the Audemars Piguet’s greatest creation in the Royal Oak.  He was also the creator of Patek Philippe Nautilus, Bvlgari Octo watches, and was even involved in creation of the Omega Constellation Double Eagle.  Under his own brand, he created many exotic models of the highest quality and this quintessential skeleton mechanical watch is no exception.  Using the the Frédéric Piguet Caliber 71, this ultra-thin automatic movement was used for the ultimate skeletonization.  Frédéric Piguet Caliber 71 is one of the thinnest non-tourbillon automatic movements so it’s pretty amazing how it could be further skeletonized whereby nearly all of the bridges have been removed with only the frames remaining.  This required the ultimate customization by Gerald Genta’s master watchmakers, and the result is an absolute mechanical marvel.  Any Gerald Genta’s Skeletonized Watches is rare let alone one in the famous Octagonal Case with Two Tone 18K Solid Gold.

CONDITION REPORT: Condition-wise the watch runs and sets with normal functional operation.  The watch has not been serviced and we do not guarantee timekeeping accuracy or any aspects of function.  It’s under the sole discretion of the end-user in regards to service or maintenance.  PLEASE DO NOT EXPOSE IT TO MOISTURE OR DIP IT IN WATER AS IT IS NOT ASSUMED TO BE WATER RESISTANT.  Cosmetically the watch is in good pre-owned condition and it has been polished in the past.  The 18K Swiss gold hallmark is nearly smoothed out but it’s still visible with rest of the Gerald Genta engravings clearly present.  Currently it has a Gucci leather strap attached which is in great pre-owned condition.  The 18KY+18KW two-tone buckle matches the watch and has the ‘GG’ hallmark.  No box or paperwork, guaranteed 100% authentic.  Diameter is 33.5mm.  This will be a wonderful watch to own considering the rarity, workmanship and history.
