REMARKS: IWC Big Pilot’s Top Gun Miramar 7 Days Automatic Mens Wristwatch in Ceramic Case. Model Reference is IW501902. In terms of IWC’s aviation-inspired sports watches the Top Gun Miramar series is the most high-grade being manufactured in black ceramic case that has been finished to a sumptuous black sheen. The Top Gun Emblem shows this wonderful collaboration between IWC and US Navy Fighter Weapons School to create a line of highly functional and technically perfect timepieces meant for the rigors of fighter jet pilots. Having the ‘Miramar’ designation also means this watch is done in a specialized muted color scheme which brings out the technical sportiness to the max. Inside the watch an IWC manufacturer in-house Caliber 51111 Pellaton Automatic winding with 168hrs power reserve and wind indicator serves as the timekeeper. Even though the case is a 48.6mm massive one it’s a very comfortable watche to wear due to its slim profile and lighter ceramic case. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) is $15,900.
CONDITION REPORT: Condition-wise the watch runs and keeps good time and all of the functions including the date and power reserved indicator work well. However, the watch has not been serviced by us and we do not offer timekeeping or any functional guarantee. It is under the sole discretion of the end-user in regards to service or maintenance. Cosmetically this watch is in excellent pre-owned condition. We do not see any apparent defect to the scratch resistant ceramic case and the sapphire crystal is also very clean. The caseback Top Gun emblem still has the original plastic film protecting it. This particular specimen of IWC Big Pilot’s Top Gun Miramar is paired with the very nice dark brown Santoni Italian leather strap which is good pre-owned shape. It will wear between 7-9” inches.
