REMARKS: Superb Classic Blancpain Villeret ‘Ultraplate’ 18K Rose Gold Extra-Slim Automatic Date Wristwatch at 38mm.  Model reference is 6224-3642-55B and it is the CURRENT MODEL shown on the Blancpain website with the newest movement and new style deployant folding buckle.  Blancpain started the Villeret line of watches in the early 1990s and the signature style of this popular line has always been the Ultra-Slim/Thin Automatic Watches.  In this current model with date display Blancpain continues the Villeret tradition by executing this Ultraplate in 18K Rose Gold to the perfect gentlemen’s dress wristwatch.  It retained the timeless design of Blancpain Villeret Ultraplate but made it in perfect modern size of 38mm.  Inside the watch the movement is another timeless classic in the Blancpain/Frederic Piguet caliber 1150 with 100 hours of running power but made incredibly thin at 3.25mm.  This latest FP/Blancpain automatic movement is also equipped with silicone hairspring where the previous models only had metal hairspring.  Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) is $19,800.

CONDITION REPORT: Condition-wise it is currently running great and keeping accurate time.  There shouldn’t be any need for service at this juncture but as the watch has not been serviced by us, we do not offer timekeeping or any functional guarantee.  Ultimately the decision to service the watch is the sole responsibility of the end user.  Cosmetically the watch is in pre-owned but beautiful shape overall with surface scratches and the bottom right lug has dent/cutoff on the very tip of the lug as can be seen from the pictures.  When the watch is worn on frontal view this defect cannot be seen, only when viewing from the side does this become evident and in general it does not distract against the overall look of the watch.  There are also some minor dings to the bezel and case that cannot be readily seen without magnification.  The Blancpain black alligator strap is BRAND NEW.  It comes with original Inner/Outer Blancpain Box (vinyl peeling), no paperwork, guaranteed 100% authentic. Diameter is 38mm.
