Superb Classic Blancpain Villeret ‘Ultraplate’ 18K Rose Gold Extra-Slim Automatic Date Wristwatch at 38mm. Model reference is 6224-3642-55B and it is the CURRENT MODEL shown on the Blancpain website with the newest movement and new style deployant folding buckle. Blancpain started the Villeret line of watches in the early 1990s and the signature style of this popular line has always been the Ultra-Slim/Thin Automatic Watches. In this current model with date display Blancpain continues the Villeret tradition by executing this Ultraplate in 18K Rose Gold to the perfect gentlemen’s dress wristwatch. It retained the timeless design of Blancpain Villeret Ultraplate but made it in perfect modern size of 38mm. Inside the watch the movement is another timeless classic in the Blancpain/Frederic Piguet caliber 1150 with 100 hours of running power but made incredibly thin at 3.25mm. This latest FP/Blancpain automatic movement is also equipped with silicone hairspring where the previous models only had metal hairspring. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) is $19,800.
