The Ulysse Nardin Marine Chronometer 1846 is one of the cornerstone models for this highly respected Swiss brand since its revival in the 1990s. As Ulysse Nardin of yesteryears was a famous horological company that made world-class ship’s chronometers, the porthole shape and power reserve at 12 o’clock design for modern UN watches pays homage to the original ship’s chronometers. This particular model in white dial is considered the classic and original UN Marine Chronometer styling as it emulates the famous UN Marine Chronometers to near perfection. This model features a stainless steel caseback engraved with all of the gold medals that Ulysee Nardin has won in competitions throughout the years. This original wristwatch model was made until early 2000s.
