REMARKS: Classic flagship Ulysse Nardin Marine Chronometer 1846 Mens Stainless Steel Wristwatch in Original White Dial. The complete reference for this watch is 263-22 and its diameter is 38mm. The Ulysse Nardin Marine Chronometer 1846 is one of the cornerstone models for this highly respected Swiss brand since its revival in the 1990s. As Ulysse Nardin of yesteryears was a famous horological company that made world-class ship’s chronometers, the porthole shape and power reserve at 12 o’clock design for modern UN watches pays homage to the original ship’s chronometers. This particular model in white dial is considered the classic and original UN Marine Chronometer styling as it emulates the famous UN Marine Chronometers to near perfection. This model features a stainless steel caseback engraved with all of the gold medals that Ulysee Nardin has won in competitions throughout the years. This original wristwatch model was made until early 2000s.
CONDITION REPORT: Condition-wise the watch is running well but it was not serviced by us so we don’t provide any guarantee to its function. It is under the sole discretion of the end-user in regards to service or maintenance. Cosmetically it is maintained well and it has some evidence to wear and age for a watch that’s already 25 years old. The inner bezel ring outside the dial has some tarnish (not to the dial itself). The sapphire crystal is original and it has many fine scratches to the anti-reflective (AR) coating on the surface. These AR coating scratches are mostly seen at certain light angles and generally do not distract against the nice appearance of this watch. The usual fine surface scratches are present throughout the case and bracelet with one end link of the bracelet having a slightly deeper dent. The caseback has some unevenness to the original brushed finish but all of the engravings are still clearly visible. Bracelet is nice and solid and will wear up to 8.5” inches in length with 8 removable screws. Diameter is 38mm. No box or paperwork, guaranteed 100% authentic.
