REMARKS: Cartier 18K Rose Gold Rontonde Power Reserve Wristwatch at 40mm diameter. Model Reference is W1556252 and Case Reference is 3732. This is one of the only models of Hand-Winding Power Reserve Wristwatches that Cartier has ever made with their in-house caliber 9348MC. The thin hand-winding mechanical caliber is a feat of slim profile and functional prowess which allows this watch to have its great elegant look. The silver guiollche dial is also a marvel with various sections for radiating pattern in the center and fan shaped power reserve indicator. The overall design strives for classical elegance without sacrificing modernity, the straight lugs and tapered bezel gives it finesse and the 40mm diameter is perfectly sized for Men’s wrists of today. The Rontonde line of watches is top-notch through and through from Cartier with various excellent complications all made with in-house or specially designed movements. They are intended for serious watch-lovers and collectors which few other Cartier watches offer such mechanical prowess. Thus this particular Rontonde 8-Days Power Reserve Watch is highly priced at MSRP $26,000.
CONDITION REPORT: Condition-wise the watch runs well and keeps great time and all of the power reserve/date functions are working fine but we have not had it serviced during our ownership so we cannot offer guarantee on timekeeping accuracy or functions. Ultimately the decision to service the watch is the sole responsibility of the end user. Cosmetically it has minimal surface scratches and wear. There are a few tiny pits on the bezel that are not seen without using a magnifier. Generally speaking the surface of the case and buckle are in excellent shape. The original Cartier alligator strap has wear and it still has some wear life remaining. It comes with 18K rose gold Cartier deployant folding buckle. Comes with Cartier Box, no paperwork, guaranteed 100% authentic. Diameter is 40mm without crown.
