First-generation Glashutte Original Senator Sixties 18K Solid Gold Automatic Mens Wristwatch with the wonderful GUB39 movement. This movement has been at the foundation of the revived Glashutte-German watchmaking scene and it serves as the base caliber for most of Glashutte Original’s offerings. This is one of the most classic and timeless models of Glashutte Original’s entire lineup. This is the first-generation model of the hugely successful Senator Sixties line-up and has the more unique engravings of ‘waterresistant’, ‘shockproof’, and ‘sapphire crystal’ that can be admired from the transparent caseback. It is well-sized for a classicall y designed dress watch at 39mm without crown, essentially the perfect size for a modern dress Mens wristwatch that will tuck underneath any shirt cuff but still has a good presence when viewed.
